What do you mean by a line breaker? Porting from EB3 to EB2 by satisfying all eligibility criteria is exactly valid and lawful.
Our problem is not anyone who is porting but the bottleneck created by current immigration policies (which still function to pretend we are still in 19th century and inaction by congress over the years. Let's pursue congress to take our cause.

Add you wife , 2 weeks before she comes, IE if she is coming on 16th may add her on 1st may.

"recent forum posts" block truncates the subject matter. old site had all of them on one side, they were complete and it really looked good.
otherwise, the site looks good.
it is going to be a little hard to get used to this new look. afterall, the old site had a background color which was very unique. That stood it apart from other sites.

Adding to the scenario above, what if the old company (which got I-140 approval) agress to continue the GC process? In that case, can't we apply for H1 extension with Company B using approved I-140 with Company A? After all, GC is a future employment application

u should just do a walk in and see. i did a walk in with my wife and the guard did not even look for the date. just walk in and see what happens.. dont say u r there to prepone...if they see the date at that time..request/beg them based on ur circumstances.

thanksI e-filed my AP and did not send any documents and just received an RFE requesting 2 photographs(write alien number with pencil in the back) and a preferably color photocopy of a photo ID.
So, please make sure that you send those supporting documents with the e file receipt to USCIS. They give out the address and instructions at the end of the application which are easy to follow.
Nevertheless, I e Filed EAD too and did not send any supporting documents and they approved it without issuing any RFE. They used an older picture from my previous EAD.

Hello Friends,
I filed for AOS on 07/2007, stopped using my current H1-B on 07/2008 (valid thru 07/2009). I am EB3-India PD 03/2005.
My question is if I can apply for a new H1-B thru a new company in the US now, instead of a transfer? I have a valid reason for doing that. Do let me know.

yes you can. Since your PD indicates your LC is >365 days old.
new H1 is same as transfer, there is no real difference in application etc. I assume you are moving from AOS-pending/EAD to an H1.

Have you put a last date for cashing, on your check?? I just want to know how to do it?
Anyway why did you put this Aug 17th as the last day in your check? It looks like you have some extraordinary vision on things....

I believe August 17th was mentioned in his/her post because that is the last day USCIS will accept employment based applications as per the revised July visa bulletin. It does not have anything to do with a date on the check.

I am a july filer too.. but neither me nor my wife ever received FP notices... not even the first time.
My lawyer and myself contacted USCIS several times over the phone and each time they opened a case for review and replied saying they'll contact me if they need anything.
Anyone else in the same situation as mine?

Hi,
We have applied for AP on Oct 1st and its still pending .
I have the following questions.
1) Can we enter using the AP thats gets approved when we are outside the US
2) How to expedite AP process other then business emergency as my wife is not working
3) can she enter using H4 even though she has used AP and EAD before. is there any problem to GC
4) I am going to India in Dec , assuming I get the AP by then is it ok for her to enter using h4 and myself AP.

So if I have MS+ 0 then I think I have to post my ad for JobZone 5. In that case, my SVP will be 7 because MS = 4 yrs and 0 expr = nothing. So i will not exceed SVP 7.
So is the combination,
JobZone 5 with an SVP 7 will work for MS+0.
Also for a software developer or related work, i don't see JobZone5. What kind of positions suit for JobZone 5 in software developers world ?
Anybody know about these things ? please drop in your thoughts
