Thanks for the confirmation that this is better confirmed and cleared out rather than face unnecessary delays. I have called them and re-requested an update of my address on phone -- NEED to wait another 45 days to receive a letter from USCIS, if not, apparently only then can I get an Infopass appointment. Lets see.
My Friend it does matters - Here is why - Although I changed my address online & got confirmation number every time I moved to different place - what happened was the RFE issued on my case was addressed to the place where I filed my application. Since then I moved to two different places and every time I moved I did update my address online promptly. Since RFE was posted to the old address as a result of the mail was fwd to all places where I lived in the past and finally delivered to my current address. Thanks to online status that I came to know RFE was issued on case with deadline. I received the RFE letter just about 3 days to respond. When we talked to CIS CSR about this the answer was that the IO who worked on my case got old address that was mentioned on my application itself and did not refer the address change made online. With help of my employer and attorney we were able to respond within the deadline date. I would call them and make sure the correct address and ask for confirmation letter from CIS. Hope this helps!

as far as i know CSC sending the transfer notices after issuing the receipts. Did u check with ur lawyer for receipts? .
Received Transfer notice from CSC to NSC...originally filed at TSC.
No Receipt Notice, EAD, AP or FP.:mad:

I recently filed 3 year H1B extention and My lawyer asked me following list of things ...
a. a copy of your updated CV/resume.
b. Copy of your earlier H-1B and I-797 approval
c. Copy of your I-140 I-797 approval notice.
d. Copy of I-485 I-797 fee receipts for you and each family member.
e. Very clear copy of each family members' passports ID/expiration page (preferably color).
f. Very clear copy of each family members' most recent US visa (preferably color) and their I-94s.
g. Copy of EAD and advance paroles for you and each family member.
That indicated USCIS may be looking at I140 as well as I485.
So there is no clear cut answer for your question. I guess Your H1B extention could be risky..
Other question for you... You said Your I140 approved in Jan-2009 & job changed in Feb-2009.
I am not sure, For AC21, 180 days counted from I140 approved date OR I485 filed date. If that's from I-485 filed date, Looks you are safe for your H1B extention.
I still advice you to use well know attorney (Khanna/Murthy) for this type of critical questions.

If I renew my H1B can I avoid visa stamping by using the AP travel document.
I still intend to use my H1B as long as I stay with my current employer, but If I want to change employers or take a different job EAD would be the way to go, in that case would my H1B be invalidated?
I am concerned if I use EAD for a future job and 485 gets into trouble can I fall back to my H1B easily?

Americans still expect six figues salaries after high school educaiton....
My boss has been trying to hire a couple of EEs since the past couple of months but is not successful.....Ultimately he had to request me to find Indians graduating in the coming fall semester from the local university....
Also the poll shoule be structured as "Do you think American school system is not producing enough skilled workers with knowledge in STEM fields?"
'High tech jobs' and 'qualified workers' are all distractive terms for the larger malice in place: Americans taking for granted that jobs will be lined for them when they step out of college.
As a matter of fact Mr. Lou Dobbs is doing a big disservice to the American people by lying and not encounraging them to face the harsh truth that there is a lot of competition out there and please be prepared to face it.

I've been using Painter Classic/7 on and off. The interface is a little hard to get around, since it bears little resemblance to other graphic software. However, I discovered it is more oriented towards traditional art.
And I agree with Ed - not much use for it if you don't have a tablet... unless you're really good with a mouse.

Today me and my wife got our CPO emails. Mine was filed in Eb3 and my wife's was in Eb2. I got my approved though my wife.

Apply for AP - 350 bucks. If you application is valid - you will get it.
Do this before trying to figure out using more money if your application is active. That may result in raising alarms and ultimately may be bad for your application. No one can penalize you for applying for EAD AP.
Once your husband is back here ask him to reapply for EAD and you send in your application too. If that comes you are all set no need to refile H1B but keep it just in case because of your special case.
All the best!
