Yes this has happened to me. I usually power cycle my monitor and its back to normal. I think this has something to do with video drivers, come to think of it I dont think it has happened since the last OSX update.

yes, this would normally be the problem. BUT as I stated. All of my accounts are on the same server. About ten accounts and ONLY two of them. And this does NOT happen on my G5 only on my PowerMac. Therefore I am sure it's NOT the server.

If you're sure it's not the server, then have you tried (after backing everything up) to go through the ordinary checklist, before it comes to deleting prefs (which I fear you must do): Fixing permissions, rebuilding mailboxes etc.?
As I understand you it's the same two that keeps making trouble...? What do you mean when you say all accounts are on the same server, is it 10 differnet accounts on one domain, or different domains all hosted on the same (physical) server...?

I have ClickToFlash enabled and haven't clicked on any video. Yet, the scrolling stops when it hits the edge of the video.

Dreadnought, I just installed InCrease (Dual version) on the X-serve a few days ago and it kicks A**. I goes through 50-60 point GROMACS in less than 10 hours. tonight i checked my status before leaving work and I was #140 but the time I got home I was #139. I think I've gained one or two positions a day since getting the server folding:D when we get the company squared away I will have 2 additional DELLs up and folding and 2 more Macs in the fray for a total of 9 CPUs doing Folding. But you're right about passing.... it's like a NASCAR race you can catch em, but passing another story..;) but we'll see:rolleyes:

That's interesting. The way I understand it is that I can buy my Mac somewhere else and then go to Apple within 14 days to buy the 1to1. Am I understanding that correctly?

I have one and use it for snowboarding. I mount it to my helmet and record at 720p 60fps. I really like it a lot. The battery lasts around 4 hours after recording about an hour. Of course this is when its 20 degrees outside, so the cold does not help the battery.

there is software called "iChatUSB" and im not sure where the site it but google it and you should find it...but that should do it, the only downside is that is costs $10

Anyways, good to see consoles finally getting head tracking, but I'm curious about how far they've gone, if it actually supports 6 DOF, or if it's just x and y, which given the console's hardware might be the case.
And that part showing the father and son air-wheeling it on the couch was lame.
GT5 has always had head tracking, and it will always be a better simulator than Forza will ever hope to be. Will GT compare to PC sims, probably not, but Forza is far more concerned with "pimp my ride" than it is with being a simulator (has to appeal to the teenage male audience xbox attracts). I'll stick with GT, its the most realistic driving sim on any console, and always will be.

Agreed. I've been using the "Olympus Master 2" software with my E-PL1's RAW files and it's ssssslllllooooowwwww (like 20s to display a pic in 1:1 resolution). Wondering if iPhoto's RAW handling is significantly faster than the Olympus s/w.
Been holding off on upgrading from iPhoto '08 -> '09 in the hopes that '10 will come out soon....................soon?

I've been carefully monitoring the processor loads on my c2d macbook (the black one) to see what kind of processor I would be needing if I buy an air. The decision is really between the 1.86 and 2.13
My loads are:
1.03 .93. 87
These are with chrome and itunes and terminal running along with ical and the likes. nothing too heavy.

I wonder if you shouldn't modify the letter "a" so that it is more like "a" rather than "a". Otherwise, the style of the logotype almost makes it look like a sloppily written "u".

Caught this while making the morning news romp today. At least there is some outbreak of common sense in that family. And if what he says is true, elder Phelps is a really sick man (which we already know). I could say more, but I'd be wasting my breath, and he doesn't deserve my breath.

(CNN) -- An estranged son of anti-gay Kansas pastor Fred Phelps said Wednesday that the spiritual leader of Westboro Baptist Church hit his wife and beat his children with a mattock handle until they bled.
"I think what he does out there is evil,"said Nathan "Nate" Phelps, during an appearance on HLN's "Issues with Jane Velez-Mitchell."
Nate Phelps is the seventh of the Westboro Baptist minister's 13 children. The younger Phelps severed ties with his family on his 18th birthday and said he hasn't had contact with his father in three decades. Nate Phelps is currently writing a book about his family.
The U.S. Supreme Court ruled earlier this month that Westboro's practice of picketing the funerals of fallen soldiers with offensive placards is constitutionally protected free speech. The picketing, which includes chants and placards stating "God Hates Fags" and "Thank God for Dead Soldiers," have enraged supporters of the U.S. military and the families and friends of slain soldiers.
Nate Phelps called his pastor father "one of the best reasons that America has been forced to get off the fence and address this issue (of gay rights)."
"But at the same time you can't ignore the fact that he's done a lot of damage," Phelps said. "He's hurt a lot of families, not only in the gay community, but the families of these soldiers."
The younger Phelps said his father also hurt his own family.
"He used his fists. He used his knees and he used ... the handle of a mattock," said Phelps, referring to a pick-like digging tool. "He used that in such a way that it split the skin on the back of the kid's legs so they bled."
"If they want to call that discipline, that's fine. But I call it abuse," Phelps said.
The son said Fred Phelps also hit his mother, but not with the handle of the mattock.
Phelps has also said his father abused prescription drugs when he was in law school. He didn't back down from the claim during the HLN interview.
Velez-Mitchell read a statement from Nate Phelps' sister, Shirley Phelps-Roper, denying the claim.
"Yikes. Hell no. His (Nate Phelps') imagination goes on and on," Roper wrote. "This lie should not have come out of his mouth when he decided to reject the word of God. Nothing he can say will change the fact that God hates (homosexuals) and their enablers and therefore God hates America and America is doomed."
Nate Phelps responded that his sister "just cynically lies about what happened."
Likewise, Phelps said his father manipulates facts and circumstances to reach false conclusions.
"My father can make any connection to anything that anyone has done or hasn't done in their life and point to that to say that that's evidence they're damned and going to hell," Phelps said. "He's convinced that homosexuality is the ultimate sin against God.
"So since the United States is taking steps to move in the direction of equality for gays in America, he says that has doomed America," Phelps said. "So anyone who is connected to America, so anyone who is supporting America in any sense is subject to the wrath of God."
When asked what he would say to his father if he could, Nate Phelps replied, "I've never had a relationship with my father. I wouldn't know what to say to him."
