1 year from now, only EB3-Indians with PDs of 2001-2006 will hang on the IV website. Everybody else(or atleast 99%) will be gone...

I believe this is an older version of the report I was talking about as it says "Assessment Year2004"
The question is why is DOL projecting that it is doing a great job? There are serious flaws everywhere and there are thousands who will testify to that. They do not know how much money to ask from the Congress and they do not know if they can even meet the deadlines they have set. Also look at the way the goals have changed

I received RFEs from my attorney and mine is on BC and my wife's is on Marriage Certificate + marriage photo and USCIS requested me to submit non avialability ceritifcate. I do have a BC with all the details but registered date is oct,2007 (That's when i applied for BC) instead of old date.
Is it a problem ? Do i have to submit anything more

If we register our marriage in the US, say, today, wouldn't that conflict with the marriage affidavits we submitted for H4 etc? Those bear the wedding's original date.

For Filing AC21 , do I need letter from the my future employer that job profile matches. My Job Title Matches my Labor Certification Title It was Software Enggineer Now it is Senior Software Engineering, But As I am in IT my old labor certification says about some old Oracle Technology but new job is J2EE and Also my Labor Certification talks about Financial Business Area but New Job is HealthCare Sector.Common thing are Both Says Design and Development of Software application.. Is it OK ?
Regarding having a match, take a lawyer's help to find out what occupation code (based on DOT - dictionary of occupationsl titles) or ONET code your previous job (in labor cert) was.
Try to take up a new job whose description would land you in the same or similar DOT code or ONET code and ask your lawyer to translate descriptions into ONET and DOT codes.
AC21 portability has never been used in such a widespread manner for such a prolonged period so a lot of new changes are likely to happen thru new interpretations done by USCIS. This time, AC21 will be used by folks for atleast 2-3 years before they get GC, just due to retrogression.

With retrogressio to last for years, I am also planning to pursue MBA. But again with IT experience , getting first MBA break is crucial.
Does anyone have idea, whether executive MBA or Part-Time MBA is better with following things in mind:

I have my work visa H1B with comapy ABC. I didnot work for them. Now Company XYZ is offering me a job and is ready to apply for H1B transfer. To do so I need atleast 2 pay stubs. I also have my EAD valid till Nov. So what is the best thing to do.

Hi my father lost his passport at the airport today and with it his I94 and US B1 visa. We do have scanned copies of his US Visa and Passport. I would appreciate any pointers on the following question -
1. What are my next steps?

2. Inform the Indian consulate. They should be able to give him a new passport.
For the rest, my *guess* is that you need to get in touch with the local USCIS office, or the airport immigration in order to get a copy of his I-94, and next time he has to go to US consulate in India (home country) for a new visa stamp.

Does this mean that we have to file I-485 before August 1st?. From August 1st, the August visa bulletin is effective and all the EB category dates are U.:confused:
You can file until Aug 16 .However from July 30 , you have to pay new feess..Better apply before July 30 and contribute to IV

Make sure you take landing papers to US embassy with you to prove that you entered Canada legally. There should not be any problems.

Friend of mine is applying for I 485 . And confused about One perticular question in form. Question is
Have you received public assistance in the United States from any source, including the U.S.Government or any State,county, city, or municipality (other than emergency medical treatment), or are you likely to receive public assistance in the future? YES / NO .
His wife had used Medicaid and WIC for prenetal care when she was on F2 Visa. My Friend was in F1 visa by that time. He took opinion from two different law firm and got totally different response. One firm says Medicaid and WIC are not part of public charge so donot put YES there. Another firm is asking to put YES and explain in seprate sheet. Does any one has same or simillar situation and already filled I 485 or got gc.

UK and other countries in Europe must be smoking pot to think that they tap into the pool of skilled migrant workers returning from US. These people are returning back to their home countries primarily due to the recent advancements in their own countries, and to some extent due to the GC & visa mess in US.
The working (& living) condition in Europe is not as good as it is in US, and the scope for personal advancement is not as good as it is in India, China, Brazil, and many other countries. Why would anyone do a stop over in between? And that too in UK - the country with the most racism than any other European country, may be with the exception of Germany. Just look at how it reversed its GC policy (a scheme called by some other BS name).
Believe me - I'm speaking from more than 8 years of living and extensive travel in that region. You don't want to do that.

No, you don't have to be employed while in EAD but do remember GC is future job, if have something to show them then you are safe.

I dialled and I was in the conf call for 10 min , no one else joined in.
I finally give up on all the initiative.. this is just pathetic.. everyone is waiting for someone to else to act.. thats not happening.
Well I am well off without GC as well.. GC is not going to make any impact in my life, I was just trying to do something which was wrong, so when the ones who are suffering they dun care then why should I.
Keep getting exploited and have sleepless nights.. I think the kind of mentality you guys have you deserve it.
