I think I found it! :D I don't have a number to test it with though lol. In your mail/contacts/calendar settings, there is a setting under Contacts called Default Account. Selectable are the default On My iPhone and my Gmail (don't sync contacts with my work account). Try switching to the exchange account and get someone to call you from a new number and try adding it.

You can ask them about whatever excessive heat you think your Mac might be generating, but straight out asking them to reapply the thermal paste isn't going to get you far.

Also that is one sure way to fry your Mac. Power surge can happen at any time.. Do you really trust those $100 surge boards for 24/7 use or do you have UPS.
Also think of how much dust gets in there...
Not smart to leave your computer on 24/7.
My first Mac and first iMac... the 2006 Core Duo... left it on 24/7 unless I had to reboot due to updates or crashes.
But since I got my Mac Pro last year, I didn't need it on anymore. Funnily enough, the hardy iMac won't turn on anymore :p

I love my PS2 and have in fact had it since the day they were released. With that said I would not use it as a dedicated DVD player especially if you burnt out a dedicated DVD player already due to high use. The PS2 is not known for it's durability. Mine has only lasted this long as once it started getting picky about the discs I played I quit using it to play DVDs and bought a dedicated DVD player. Also my PS2 sits in the top of the entertainment center and only gets moved to have the dust cleaned out of it.

Basically the Mac Pro comes in two different fundamental configurations: a single CPU version and a dual CPU version. These are two different chipsets and unless you reeeally like overspending it is not wise to change this later.
Consider your needs and first of all determine if the software you'll be using can take advantage of a high number of cores. If you don't know a google or forums search can help, you can also ask about specific software here.
Once you have determined how many cores you need (or want) you can go straight to the model you need (stock or customized at the apple online store) or, if you are feeling adventurous, you can, as you are proposing, buy a single cpu or dual cpu model and upgrade it with very specific processors. If you want a dual CPU model you CAN'T mix different processors; they have to be identical. If you buy a single CPU model you CAN'T add another CPU later unless you also change the chipset, which is, as I said, very expensive.

just to clarify, i'm not asking for advice in if I should invest. I understand concerns that apple has hit an all time high, but I strongly believe it will only increase in the next year.
If anyone has any advice as to how I can do this that would be great.

macbook air. may sound stupid, but as mentioned before we've gotten used to names and branding before as they make big marketing pushes.
with the air part, does nike air sound stupid? nike air max? nike air jordan? nike air (insert almost any name here)? i think there is a legitimate possibility for an apple product named with air in it

Ugh, I just bought CleanMyMac. Could you elaborate more why these products are bad to use? Thanks
I've also noticed that CleanMyMac sometimes deletes important system files which can lead to problems down the road. Id just consider it a waste of $15 or 30 if you paid for a lifetime license :o and just never use it.

First off, calm down.
Secondly, do you have anything on the HDD that you need backed up?
If you do not, just put in your original discs that came with the computer and hold down the C key while starting up to boot off the disc. Then, use Disk Utility once the Installer loads to format your HDD and reinstall your OS.

I'd love to see an end to this question. With every new firmware release this question is posted. Can I still restore to the previous firmware since a new firmware came out today?
Well, why don't YOU try it and find out the answer to that question?
The worst that will happen is you will be denied the restore to that firmware if you don't have an SHSH on file for it already.
This isn't rocket science. The slightest bit of research would turn up this information.

In 90% of what we say, does it have any point to it? You say, "Hello." What's the Point? You already know that you know them, and they know that you know them; therefore is there any point in saying hello, if you can just smile, showing you've acknowledged them. When you make a mistake don't get down about it - laugh it off, it'll "lengthen our own life"; however, if you laugh at a person who made a mistake, you'll make them get down about it, therefore, "shortening their's." It also may be referring to suicide, but I haven't read the context - Hellhammer, Herdfan: if you feel you're about to commit suicide, DON'T listen to Adele. :)
Basically, don't laugh at other people's mistakes; both of them were innocent mistakes - there's no need to point them out - they know what they did, even if it's subconscious - we know what they mean.
