Could any one please clarify on below points.I hope this posting will also help other new members who got their EAD
1.Can I take an offer with a consulting firm for suppose 3 months con_w2 ?This firms will give me offer letter stating that I will work with them for only 3 months.I cannot file AC 21 since it is temporary employment.In my case since my original employer is intended to hire me permanently once GC is approved and supporting the GC process for this RFE Can I take this contract employment with out filing AC 21? As such I don't see any point in filing AC 21 in my case even if I find full time employment with the end client since my original employer is ready to hire me once GC is approved as GC is for future employment.Please clarify me on this.

As stated in my previous post my PD is current as I have an I140 approved under EB1-OR.

If you see data.
Approvals started happening only in JUNE, JULY, AUG, SEP.
So all applications till first few weeks of JUNE have got VISA numbers and are getting approved.
Those who filed after JUNE 15th, need to wait till next week i.e Oct 1, to get VISA assigned.
But only those current in Oct will get VISA number assigned.
Also worry is they may take it easy and wait till next May/June to start the RUSH or if they keep the pace, then the july fiasco is acutally a boon to all waiting . Imagine, the GC process time is 3-4 months now instead of years.

i thought of these two colleges which were referred by someone, i assumed that, as these colleges are having so many F1 Indian students (i saw on social networking sites), these would be accredited colleges???????????????????
after seeing ur reply, I realised that there are so many ANNAMALAI universities here!!!!
Do u have any idea, where can we check these college status!!!!

I was in the same boat as you. I did not get my wife's AOS receipt but all others ( 5 out of 6) . But when the FP notices came with her AOS receipt number on it, I thought USCIS may have misplaced the receipt.
Right after the fingerprint, we received this LUD on her AOS case:

IF I port to self employment will things be any better?
That way I can be a consultant and work in my field. I can generate enough work. Also, how would USCIS exactly know what kind of work a person is doing?

No. I changed to a different company with same position.
It is more than likely a computer glitch but it's always worth it to check with the USCIS. A few years ago the status on one my approved old H-1B cases changed from Approved to Initial Review. It shows the same (Initial Review) status till date. It did not affect my current and/or future H-1B approvals.

I thought of adding that in the poll as I am in a similar situation. The only difference for me is that the attorney is a very big law firm and are EXTREMELY busy. My compnay is not able to do anything either since their involvement in I-485 is negligible.
I am in a bit of a pickle here :(
How about adding "No control as Lawyer will not inform when he will file".
This option may be valid for many users using the Corporate attorney.

My I-140 was approved 2 yrs back. I have more time on H1 like ..2 more yrs.
I'm planning to use my EAD or do H1 transfer. So far I have good relations with my employer.If I speak to my employer about my plans will he be able to hurt my case like thru I140 or any otherway?
After I switch jobs will I be able to go back to my old employer if I would want to .
