No it doesn't. Seriously, I've visited this site zillions of times and Safari has never crashed on it.
As for resizable text areas, it's a good idea in theory. Too many "web designers" think they are designing for print...the user is supposed to have control over how things look. That's one of the whole points of the web; everything should be as relative as possible.

If the user (who knows nothing of design, fonts, color, etc.) has control over the presentation of a company's image then there is absolutely no point in having a designer. Might as well have the intern throw something up there. Think before you write.

Went to this expo yesterday, it wasnt bad, not as good as I thought it would be. Mainly computer shops, some game shops, a massive 600+ LAN fest, etc.

The ipods do not have enough individuality/functionality to do this, without changing the entire underlying scheme. (Generally they fix this in Itunes).
What they do is prevent unwitting individuals to participate easily in large scale piracy, but allow local piracy.
This tends to INCREASE sales, not DECREASE sales. Local piracy creates obligation and requires work. Both of these create demand for legal product interestingly enough. (Large scale piracy does nothing for demand, but DRM does not affect large scale piracy).
At anyrate, the apple system is well done, the movie folks should just take thier money, and I suppose complain loudly, but just take the money

SevenInchScrew, I highly recommend an S2000. Great little cars. One can look really good with some tasteful mods or even bone stock it still looks good but I'd lower it a tad for a cleaner look. Either that or 5th Gen Prelude :p

Excellent sounding. I must admit I like vistas tab system (clicking the box to make a new tab. Not that there is a problem with a ?T but I sometimes I want to click.You can get this already (along with Tab dragging and dropping) in Safari by getting SAFT:

Is Macworld just a one day event??? or will they be showing more stuff? I was hoping to hear something about the 8 core mac pro.
Macworld lasts just about all week with the expo. It's for 3rd party companies to show off their new products and deals and the like, but Apple won't be announcing anything new unless they decide to be different this year. I'm really disappointed about no 8core Mac Pro yet as well.
I really hated this years keynote.
Correct me if i'm wrong but Jobs said at the start of it that it was going to be all about the mac ? What happened.
I thought the same thing until I watched the streaming keynote video. MacRumors really ruined my day by misquoting Steve. I was super hyped all morning about hearing a lot about the Mac, but Steve actually said (and I'm partially paraphrasing):
"2007 is gonna be a great year for the mac, but that's all we're gonna say about it today. over the next several months we're gonna be rolling out some awesome new stuff for the mac... but for today we're gonna move on"
Had MacRumors taken the time to get that one tiny bit of information right in their live text feed, I wouldn't have been nearly as upset about the whole thing as I was. They built my hopes up very high with that remark and it really ticked me off.

I've been a very satisfied customer of .Mac since its inception. I receive zero spam e-mails and I am delighted with the ability to create aliases. On top of that there is no advertising at all. I also have a couple of other web-mail accounts and they get zillions of spam messages even with their respective anti-spam filters turned on. I think that this update adds a little bit more polish on an already decent offering. I do agree with a previous poster that the iCal integration needs some work.

That's true, I have received VERY little spam, and what i do receive gets put right into junk mail. I have 2 to 3 email addresses forwarded to my .mac account (those 2 to 3 do receive spam) but i still get very little in my Mail.app or webmail. good point, because if anyone has ever used hotmail, that crap gets annoying fast.

I'm opening like 7 tabs in Safari (2 of which are youtubes) and others are regular text-based pages. I also open iTunes with music on and MSN messenger. My Spec is below (MacBook Pro). Why is safari runs extremely slow and used up 1GB+ of Ram? I wouldn't have expected 4GB of Ram to run out this quickly.

Just one example but Transformers 2 was cut on FCP, and that's a 250mil movie, hardly an independent one :)

Again I have one position my position is that voluntarily using violence if another option is available (and they're is almost always another option available) is wrong. Always.
I just get annoyed that American's are willing to define other nations military engagements as "illegal". But everything we do is legal just bla bla bla etc.
Claiming that torture is ok because a few terrorist killed 3000 American's must by logical extension mean that it's ok to torture Americans since we have since killed hundreds of thousands of others (most of them quite innocent of any crime) :rolleyes:.
I'm tired of double standards.
