I got an email from DOS (TRTClearanceResponses@state.gov) as follows:
Dear XXX
We can now conclude your application for a nonimmigrant visa. Please mail the following items to the Non-Immigrant Visa Unit, 360 University Avenue , Toronto , ON M5G 1S4 or appear with them in person at 225 Simcoe St. at your earliest convenience within sixty (60) days of this notice, Monday through Thursday between the hours of 9 AM and 11 AM , excluding U.S. and Canadian holidays. No new appointment is necessary. Please mail or bring:
o This request.
o The notice of suspension TRT/NIV-13(A) received at your interview.
o Your passport (must be valid for at least 6 months from today�s date).
o All documents that you submitted with your original application (e.g. I-797, I-20, DS-1029, etc.).
o A self-addressed, prepaid Canada Express Post mailer.
o USD or Mastercard/Visa credit card to pay any visa reciprocity fee noted at http://travel.state.gov/visa/reciprocity/index.htm.
o NO electronic items, food or liquids.
It may take an additional workweek to prepare your visa after you appear here or these items reach us by mail. Please understand that U.S. law makes the applicant, and not the U.S. government, solely responsible for qualifying for a visa in time to suit his/her needs. We can offer no prior assurance of eligibility to any applicant for any reason at any time.
Should I contact US Consulate in Toronto for confirmation before go to Toronto for my visa interview?

Hi I am stuck in 221(g) since mid-November 2007..over 75 days..can you provide some details about your case?
Mine is H1B 3 extension for 7th year at Mumbai. I am not getting any help in this matter from the authorities that my lawyer has contacted...only the standard response that it they are awaiting a response.

I believe there are very few left before April 1st 2004. EB2 I was stuck at April 1st 2004 for a long time and never moved from that date (excluding 2-3 times for a month or two when2006 people got approved). There will be lot of people from first half of 2004.

I am pretty sure we are in the last state but I will check that and make sure when I get home tonight. We have filled out forms called Packet III and sent them in. I was told that we are waiting for a gereen card number available so we can get a consular processing date. And I tried calling immigration couple time with our case number starting ANK...(for Turkey).I was told by them our case was approved too...
It has been much more then 6months...so you are saying that she can change employers.Very interesting...The lawyer told us otherwise.

My PERM has been pending for over one year, and I just got the H1 Approval for 1 year and 2 months (1 year H1 Extension and 2 months recapture time). I am currently in Malaysia and need to apply for a visa at US Consulate in Malaysia. Since I am on the H1 visa, I have to show the proof that I will return back to Malaysia after the end of my work period in US. Accordingly, I would need to purchase the round trip ticket. The issue is that the plane ticket only valid for the maximum of 1 year, but my visa valid for 1 year and 2 months. Please advise if one way plane ticket would be sufficient for the visa interview or need to be a round trip plane ticket. If it is not, what should I do? Also, I wonder if the application package including I-129 submitted to USCIS need to be stamped �Certified True Copy� with the original signature of the lawyer or employer for the visa interview. Can I use the copy one that is stamped �Certified True Copy� with the non-original signatures of my lawyer or employer? Anybody pls help. Thank you very much.

So did you find out any more information on this? I'm in the same situation like you. In the instructions I clearly see that we have to send our application to Texas service center as we live in MA. But I want to make sure whether this is correct before I send my application. I'm sure it will be painful to wait for a long time later.

I was thinking of askign my lawyer to change my case from non rir to rir ?
i was wonderign if anyoenhas done it? and what are the risk factors in changing from non rir to rir?
My pd is oct2002? nothign heard after teh 45 day letter....

There is no -ve impact on coverting to RIR. If RIR is denied, you will still be processed as TR. You wont loose your PD

My Lawyer is saying that we cannot apply for AP without a valid reason and a valid paper such as someone is sick or wedding with a proof.

Hi all,
This forum is full of smart people. So I want to throw my situation out there to get some advice from all of you. I am into 7th year of my H1 with by labor with PD of Sep 2002. At the rate things are moving, I am running out of patience here.
Things took an interesting turn last week, when a mid sized Software co. is willing to outsource me some of their work. Given the size of the opportunity, I will need to go to India to setup a team of 5 to 6 ppl. The co. is pretty eager and willing to offer some of the finanical guarantees I have asked for.
So my question is, should I take this opportunity and say good bye to GC? Or I should be patient as there may be a need to be in US to grow my outsourcing biz, in case it jump starts well. What would you do if you were presented this opportunity and you had the enterpreurial spirits to pull it off.
I would be eager to see what people say here.

No.3 and 4 are my favorites.....but No. 4 is the one I wud choose as best. I like the touch of green and the sky is superb. Horizon Line is straight on. The pic is sharp all around, but what really catches me when I first viewed the picture is the "bolt" in the fence.
