Interesting. I haven't calibrated mine yet - I'm waiting for my new printer and then will do them both together (or I may replace the monitor too). On mine current one it looks fine - lots of detail and highlights in the area that was blacked out before. It is certainly a difference between monitors and also probably a bit of personal preference. Here is another version reducing the intensity of the FM shadow reduction which does give a washed out look if overdone. The first one used an intensity of 5. this one uses a three.
By the way - do you use autofocus when shooting on the 500 + 1.4 TC? I am trying out a 1.4tc now on my 1-400Lis. While it gives TTL metering there is no autofocus with the tc.

When you say careful, what do you think needs to be avoided? What are the dos and dont's of a primary applicant who wants to use their EAD?
Dont use.
1. If your 140 is pending.
2. If you are still single. You cannot bring the spouse on H-4.
3. If you think that it may take 3 years to get your GC.
Use. This is a tough one. I do not suggest using it.

Talk to your own Health Insurance Company that your Company is Providing and ask for a quote.Even better is through your HR.Ask them to contact the company for adding your Wife. It shouldn't be too difficult i guess.

1. Is this because B is the "future" employer? In the usual scenario, if B were the current employer who responds to the RFE, can I switch to C within 6 months of joining B?
2. Also, does USCIS ask for us to prove "Ability to Pay" from the employer who responds to any I485 RFE?
At the time of 485 approval if future employer (B) is responging to RFE then yes you must work for long-term with B, however, in today's world 6 months is considered long-term.

Actually it is the G28 form that you sign to give authorization for your lawyer to represent you. It is valid just the one time when they file the forms and not considered as for your life of your form/application.
This means, that in future all the corresponsence related to the form in case of I-485 will be forwarded to you aswell as your lawer/company immigration dept by USCIS. For example, if USCIS sends a FP notice, that both of you guys (You and Company lawer) will receive the copy.

I asked same question to my lawyer 2 days ago & he said "YES". One can request to consider for multiple categories by reapplying I140 again. Lates USCIS's Q&A confirms that...

but the question is can someone mail the AP to India by postal mail or can someone take it along with them for their spouse if they are travelling. Precisely my question is when someone has applied for AP and when its not approved, can they travel without it and come back with AP that was approved after travel to India? This is always a grey area and no one seems to have a clear answer.
the rule states that you have to be present in the country when you apply for AP. It does not say anything on where you need to be when it is approved. There are many cases where the applicant left the US to have the document mailed or taken along with someone to the person out of the US. The applicants on return were not asked anything. It was business as usual.

Can you tell us how much time USCIS took to approve your 485 after they approved your new EB2 based I-140 with dates ported from your previous EB3 based I-140. Also did you communicate seperately with USCIS to inter file your old 485 with new I140 approval or by just mentioning your A# on your I-140 application every thing for I-485 linking was automatically taken care by USCIS on their own.

Need not..call him up or go to his office(i recommend this) because we sound different over the phone..try to talk him/her out on this matter..he violated some labor rules, it doesn't mean he/she cannot come after u on this matter..court and labor department are two separate issues..any evidence against him/her can only be used by the discretion of judge..there are several loop holes in this contract issues..by experience i have only got to know a few of them..don't be scared..coz that doesn't help u..finally sorry to tell that i am not able to help you in giving a straight answer..but please do contact a legal attorney in this matter..just consult him/her and get their first hand opinion..also talk to ur employer face to face(if possible) and tell him/her u made few mistakes and i have done one mistake..tell them to get it over with..if u run away from him, he/she thinks ur scared and will try to scare u more..lastly please do not lose ur control by threating / abusing with emails or voice mails or any of that kind..coz that can be used against u inspite of his/her mistake..

Is it true even for principal applicant? If 140 is denied, isn't your EAD invalidated? In other words, if 140 (immigration petition) is denied, there is nothing to adjust your status on and so even 485 becomes invalid.

Even if the 485 is rejected, if it is something that can be fixed thru an MTR, then filing an MTR and changing the status back to pending is still fine. It is not necessary to stop using the EAD for that brief period.

I fail to understand one fundamental statement "We do not have numbers for CIR THIS YEAR" . If they do not have the numbers this year , how will they have magically have numbers the next year and year after that and what hope are the 12 million illegals and 1 million legals sitting on ?
1) The people will not change , not will their opinions over the next 1 year .
2) The Hispanics will not flood into their constituencies in 1 years or even in 5 years and make them change their opinions .
3) What has economy , Iran or energy or healthcare got to do with immigration reform ?
3a) Are they are saying they are so busy is solving these issues that they do not have the time for CIR ? I can at least buy this "No time" logic .
3b) But just because you pretend to be engrossed in solving all the these world problems , why will you not vote for CIR . Either you support CIR or you do not . Why will not vote for CIR if there are other issues this year and will vote if you have no issues next year is beyond my understanding .

It is not illegal per se if your actual salary is less than that mentioned in LC. It is however detrimental to your GC case.
