Yeah, the PS3 browser is terribly shite.
The best software for streaming media to your PS3 is PS3MediaServer, which is free but Intel only. So unfortunately you can't really use your G5 as the media server. The PlayStation requires a uPnP server for streaming and if your MyBook jobbie is connecting and doing the trick, then you're halfway there. The best thing you can do is rip all your files to a format the PS3 likes with Handbake on your Mac and load it all up on the WD HDD.
We don't get Netflix in the UK, but LoveFilm has started a streaming video service which is about the closest we're ever going to get. We do however get shortcuts to BBC iPlayer, ITV Player and 4oD on the XMB.
Oh, and sign up for a PSN account. Download WipEout HD Fury and have a blast at that. You've got a decent machine with good games. The Blu-ray player is great, so we just need to get your media streaming sorted out.

Ok, if you could please describe the names and where the file(s) you removed I would like to do the same thing, as would we all I think.

Did someone see my post regarding the minor developers? This is worthy to note as the main ones are leaving the PPC realm, while literally 1000's of smaller and minor companies, such as wondershare and others are still making universal binaries for both intel and ppc - a win win if you ask me.

Especially people who need to work with people using Office 2007/2010 for Windows, or who happen to need Adobe CS5/5.5, Final Cut Studio 3 or Logic Pro 9 or a myriad of other Professional Applications just to get stuff done. Many people bring work home, and most of the key productivity software for Mac is now intel only. Dodgy methods? Couldnt you have just signed up for a US iTunes account and downloaded it, then switched back to your normal one? That's how most non-US people got it easly.

Hello everyone,
I am new to Objectvice C and just started learning it.
The situation that I cannot resolve is pretty trivial, I am sure there is something simple I am missing. I created Fraction.m class in my test project in XCode using Source -> Add -> New File ->Objectvie C Class. I filled the .h file with the members and implemented all of them in the *m file. Afterwards I am trying to instantiate this Fraction class in my Program.h class in the main function.
I tried to include the .h file through #import directive but I get compiler error "No such file ore directory". Also whenever I am trying to use Fraction class, I get compiler error that Fraction is not defined. Though intellisense in the XCode code editor is seeing both "Fraction.h" and Fraction class. I am sure that there are no compilation errors in the Fraction.h and Fraction.m.

hi,
I'm having trouble with vertical distance in GoLive.
eg: my home page.
I want to have a certain distance between various headings and sections of www.eclispenow.org but really can't seem to get the "box" tool working properly. Any ideas for guaranteeing vertical distance... without getting into html? (Html scares me at this stage.):eek:
I looked at your code and almost crapped my pants! Some scary case of DIVitis (among other things) going on in there. :eek: :p

Opinion: Depends on the exact model of powerbook, but I give you 50%-50% of it working.
This is Crucial's generic laptop RAM. It's fine thing, but it is not guaranteed to work on Powerbooks. Crucial's Powerbook RAM is a special build CT12864X335AP or CT12864X335.16 NewEgg of course makes no guarantee of compatibility. (you did see the review from the purchaser who tried 2 of these without success in their 17" powerbook, right?)
I recommend that you stick with a reputable vendor who tests and guarantees compatibility with your model Powerbook, has a lifetime warranty, and a no-cost return if it doesn't work.
If that Crucial doesn't work, you'll be out time, trouble and shipping costs. Wost case, you may get stuck with a restocking charge depending on seller policies.

It's not the number of Megapixels, but the sensor size. Jamming that many MPs into a tiny sensor will not give you a good camera

I had the 12MP SE Satio for a couple of months and it was good for a phone but my old 7MP compact camera with a better lens blew it away.

My Apple wireless keyboard lasts 2-3 months on regular AA batteries.
If your wireless keyboard was backlit you'd have to replace the batteries every second day or so...

The ad is very misleading. The auction is over so there's nothing to change that. I'm very sure the seller must think it's new. No way a refurbished one sells for that much when a brand new one can be bought for less than that unlocked on Ebay from what I have seen.

I've not been into these conferences before now (I saw the keynote from Steve Jobs a) when the new iMacs were anounced, and b) when the new ipods/iphone were anounced) and since then, I've had a huge excitement...plus the fact, I'm in the market for a MBP and an iMac :D

if your rating is low (I would say below 10) I would recommend that you just buy a bunch of cheap crap just for the feedback. I know they sell a lot of postcards and things for like a quarter. Other than that, I agree with ITASOR. The photo(s) makes or breaks the sale. Look at some other Imac g4 photos and see what looks good and what doesn't.
And last but not least, don't gouge on shipping. that's just tacky.
