I do not know, an internet game is "any type" of game. If it were me, I would make you pay, just to use you as an example. Give them an inch and they will take a mile.

Hey uknick, firstly welcome to MacRumors ;)
Yeah, I'm going to wait and order mine. I'm not rushing in to it. I'll order mine online also, unless I have good reason to pop in to town and buy the iPad2 from the local Bristol store. I'm still wondering if I really need it or not. Still deciding, but temptation is strong!
Come on Will - you know you want one!! Just give into the inevitable....
I bought the first gen a year ago and never regretted it ( sold it on eBay before the new one was announced :-)) it is by far the best gadget I have ever owned and believe me I have tried many! I even had a brief flirtation with a Galaxy Tab over recent weeks - but it only took me a few days before I gave up and stuck it back on eBay! Once you have tasted Apple other fruits taste just bland ;-)
I can't wait to get the new one particularly for AirPlay with my Apple TV.
I would be going to Bristol if I wasn't working today. Hope that there might be one with my name on somewhere in London.
One last small point - can you veleive that Orange block this site on my iPhone because they say it is "adult content" that really annoys me - it wouldn't happen on my 3 SIM used in my iPad!

Thank you for your quick reply..
How long do you think it will take to have to knowledge to actually write my own App. That would be App Store quality ?
thanks again :)

I have been using screen in the osx terminal to get serial access, using the following:
screen telnet /dev/tty.usbserial
Unfortunately I can't scrollback in screen, which makes copying long config files a process of :apple:-C, :apple:-V, and repeat. Any suggestions for native serial support in the osx terminal app WITH scrollback?
I do not understand why you are using screen to launch telnet instead of invoking it directly, but try using logging in screen (-L if memory serves right)
Personally I would use tee to make a copy of the output in a file and extract your config files from this file.
Also IIRC Cisco's iOS lets you save and load config files directly. I do not remember the exact syntax but try built-in help...
Hope this helps,
Trebor.

I'll try to remember that when I submit and space things out a little better.
I've noticed it before but since I usually get on late at night I sometimes forget how many songs I put in and how many were already there that I just added to my list :D
It probably doesn't help I only come in to submit once a day and put in at least a half-dozen songs each time. :)

holy crap you're a genious :) it actually started computing now i think, though it errored out right away with an 'unstable machine' error. first time its gotten that far at least. here's the log
it was trying to use core_15 earlier which was probably the issue. i wasn't forcing it with g80. i'm still not sure from those linux instructions what all we need to do on os x with the wine dll wrapper and stuff though. maybe its not actually seeing the card who knows. thanks for the help:)
looks like it might be an issue with the nvidia cuda driver and 10.6.5? http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=185332
well hey, it seems you are getting somewhere! yeah if you have a core_15, you gotta delete the everything except the fah app and the dll files, and it will download a new core_11.
don't give up! you might be able to get there!

Those screens are already available - and you can buy them if you want, but cost quite a bit, 10k+. And I just spent 5 minutes searching for the site and I can't find it - if someone knows it post it.

they have this service in the UK too but I can't for the life of me remember the number
it's free if they don't recognise the song but 50p if they do identify it
any single part of the song it works with, it's scary

I also should mention that the clone was from another macBook that I'm trying to install in my new MacBook Pro (i7 quad).
We're beyond Winclone now it would seem.
Which Macbook was it that you took the image from? Windows doesn't usually like being relocated to new hardware (without SYSPREP) but when the machines are similar enough you might be able to get away with it.

"Black Email of Death"
"Death Grip"?
What is it about the internet that it encourages everyone to be so dramatic with every issue, even a dead pixel. ("The pixel is dead! DEAD! I could handle a sick pixel, but a dead one?")
not sure but i think it goes way back to the Windows' Blue Screen of Death (BSOD).
but yeah, i agree - what's with the drama over these technical glitches, and with most small things in life?

Did a search, but couldn't find any sites in the U.S. selling it....know where one could get it?
I checked and I think the only place that sells it is Dension USA (http://www.densionusa.com). I called them because I am also looking to get this solution for my car and they said it would not be shipping until February 2005 and it will cost about $219
Also of note with the Dension solution if you get a new car down the road and want to move it to the new car, it will only work if the new car is the same make as your current car (i.e. Honda to Honda not Honda to BMW) which sucks because they should just make it so you can just swap cable connecting the ICE Link to the car's headunit. Oh well I guess I'll see what the iCruze has to offer when it comes out.

If I didn't have a 360 already, I would buy the Elite instead of the premium. For $80 you can future proof yourself more and pretty much never worry about disk space constraints. I'm not going to go out and sell my 360 and get the Elite now, I am very happy with my setup now and all my controllers/accessories are white.

whole things sounds fishy to me. no paypal no way you can dispute it. I think going through your friend is the best and only route and hope for the best. have them meet at a public place (Starbucks) even a police station I will bet he doesn't like that idea. all you can do is hope for the best worst case this route you have a over priced used 16gb I4. which is better then nothing. good luck.

I'm glad his viewership is up but I guess this is why I haven't heard much Fox News is the best comments lately on all the forums. :)
So, has Fox News reported on their losses? Bill O'Reilly never seemed to miss a chance to talk about how he's #1 with x million viewers.
