Can you please explain further - what you mean by "So, the person intended to cash it cannot. " Does it mean that if you make a request to track the MO thru' PO then USCIS will not be able to encash it.
The way you track money orders is , after 30 days from the date u gave them out , pull out the Money Order Sequence "Number" at the bottom of the top slip that you have. Give that in along with $5 to your local post office. they would track it for you and give a report.

As per my company if you do not carry AP and your green card is approved and you enter using H1 you will invalidate your green card.

Sorry I didnt make it clear about changing status to visitors visa. I am aware that it will not be an automatic switch.
I am wondering how difficult it is to switch to visitors visa status or to extend H1b for few months? Do people have high success rate or is it full of hassle (trying to extend stay on visitor/H1 status)?
ABIM board is an exam we take after finishing residency. I would prefer to finish it now immediately after residency.
I will try to meet up with an attorney in near future and discuss these issues, will be glad to share any new important info.

Why even this discussion. there are many who no longer work for the sponsor even before getting the GC. What do you think happens if they find out? have you heard of anybody whose GC was affected?

Focus till your waist ( important ).
Then take the card/chip to walmart.
Use the photocenter/kiosk there,
opt for wallet size,$.28 ( each wallet order will print 2 pictures in it )
autoadjust / manual contrast for extra brightness and print it.
collect in 1/2 hr, cut the pictures as needed.
I paid $2 total.
:)

Hi,
I just got my 2nd 3 year extension (Nov 2006 to Nov 2009) on my H1B after completing six years.
My PD is June 2005 and I-140 approved on July 2006. I am thinking of
changing my job. I am puzzling about the following questions:
1. Can I change the job and use my 3 year extension for the next job?
2. Can I keep my PD of June 2005 if my current employer doesn't revoke
my I-140 ?
3. If I apply for GC again with new employer and get my I-140 approved , can
I keep getting 3 year extensions on that job ?

All State is saying is that they are giving EB2-India a total of 2987 visas. They didn't care about spill over and slow consumption by ROW. They are still acting stupid but this time they are trying to show reasoning for their stupidity. If this report had a consumption of visas till date for FY10 like in a dash board, then they would have seen their own stupidity clearly.
I think you are making too much out of it. All they have said is 2987 per country. Below they do mention it flows from E1 to E2 to E3. Do you seriously think that they are going to say exactly how much the spill over is?

Since I did my master's here. I think they filed my case under EB1...I need to re-check. If this is the case then how long does it take. Yes I'm an indian.
I doubt if a Masters qualifies for EB1. But if you filed under EB1, then you should be able to file I485 immediately as that category is CURRENT. Check and confirm the category your employers filed and post your question again.

Can we contact journos like Neil Cavuto, Sheryl Casone to talk about how giving GC to legals like us can stimulate economy in someway?
I noticed these Business section journos are endlessly talking about ways to prevent the recession.
We can suggest them to talk about recapturing of visas & giving the legals GCs as it can contribute towards (to some extent) a possible stimualtion to the economy(it will surely add to the percentage...) surely we are boosting the spending by making high earning legals spend more on say housing or Autos by giving them GCs...
Not sure if IV gurus are thinking on these lines.

I think that to move to EB2 with the same employer, it may be possible to count experience from the same employer if the new role you are moving to is atleast 50% different from what you are doing in your current role.
I am not an attorney and so you should consult one about this, though. Can anyone who knows this comment?

I personally think 1 yr+ wait should work. But definitely take the letters-to-congressmen route first.

I had to live with a 70-300 Sigma that was f/3.5-5.6 for a long time. While I made do for sports and motorsports type stuff, my world opened up when I upgraded to a fixed f/2.8 zoom. Hold off a bit, if needed, and get a faster lens. You'll be much happier.
If you're mostly going to be doing landscapes and whatnot, the slower lens will work just fine.
