Though i also bought Playstation Move = that's pretty much doing nothing with my Wii for company at the moment. :rolleyes:
Yeah. PS3's Move is too much like the Wii for me. I can't seem to get excited about it. Being a former EyeToy and a current PS Eye owner, I'm also a bit skeptical since the Eye is a required Move component. The quality of the Eye is pretty bad. I'm very surprised they didn't release an updated HD Eye since it's so central to making Move work. I've had nothing but problems with it (poor low light performance, bad picture quality, etc).
Most of the game critics have lambasted the launch title Move games too (SingStar Dance, EyePet, Sports Champions, The Shoot, Tiger Woods, etc). The highest I've seen is a 7 out of 10.
At least Kinect is different from the Wii since it doesn't require a controller. Then again, most of the Kinect games are Wii knock offs (Kinect Sports=Wii Sports/Wii Sports Resort, Joy Ride = Excite Truck, Fitness games = Wii fit, etc).
The only one that looks different is Adventures. I don't know. I think I'll hold off.

So is that definitely what i have? it says on some of the memory sites that somes G5s have four dimm slots and others 8. I'm pretty sure mine has 8, but want to verify.

iPhone. You have a 13" MBP so I think it goes better with a iPhone since that is something you can put in your pocket and take anywhere.
I just picked up my first smart phone, the iPhone 3Gs for only $49 and it is the single coolest gadget I ever had in my life (over 50 years). Since I upgraded my AT&T service I get to get my iPhone I am entitled to another phone upgrade within 12 months (else it would be 18 months). My thinking was that I need to get to know my iphone and in a year I would be eligible to get a iPhone 5. My $49 3GS is fine and I don't miss the iphone 4 features but I am hoping that the iPhone 5 is both 4" screen and will work on AT&T with 4G for faster.... Those two phone upgrades was useful and helped me opt out of a iPhone 4 last month.
I really can't see needing an ipad with a MBP and iPhone. If I had an iMac then a iPad and iPhone makes sense but if in any case an iPhone has become a life changing must have device that fits in my pocket

Not being to familiar with the console I've been using InCrease that works really fast and stays in the background. It even keeps running after I log out at the end of the day (at work) or night (at home) I just recently installed it on my new G5 X-serve (dual 2.3 ghz 520gb mirrored drives with 4gb RAM) and it's doing 50-60point GROMACs in about 7 to 8 hours each, well 2 at a time so I'm crunching about 100 points in 8 hours with it.

Its now 9.50 and the queue is forming well infront of the Apple store,touchwood. I have heard rumours abound that white models are limited and iPad stock isn't as many here as the bigger london stores, so if your planning to be a late comer cancelled your meetings, leave work early or just cry off ill, because your going to be waiting in line a long time and your going to be very angry if stock has gone. people started turning up near 6.30am and the line is getting bigger.

Unfortunately, I've never seen anything about graphics upgrades as this would take a whole lot more research and possibly a daughterboard and firmware upgrades to make it work.

I've heard that ruby on wheels is a really good editor - it will allow you to do allsorts, but you need to be pretty handy with code side of designing... if not, just take a bit of time to look into it...

For programs like MS Access, I can understand the need for VPC, but what graphics app is absolutely necessary on a PC? There must be a Mac equivalent. Oh, and VPC runs decently for everything other than graphics related apps (Photoshop or games).
