Just because businesses wants your email doesn't equate to they'll sell your details...

Than why else do they want them? FT references their "business model" needing this "relationship". As other have said, I want their content NOT a relationship.
That is NOT a reason to assume they do sell information. Probably marketing reasons.
Apple wants people to give personal information ( address, phone number etc ) to sign up for the various *free* developer programs ( i.e., Safari Developer ).. that isn't an indication that Apple are going to sell your information... However, according to your response.. Apple will sell this information... ( which of course, they will not ).

So Samsung believed Apple was violating it's patents all this time but decided to do nothing about it. Now that they have been pushed they decide to act. Sounds to me they are trying to find whatever they can to bite back at Apple.
it is more company like Samgsung have huge patent porfolios that they never really use unless they get sued and that is when they go looking threw it and saw Hmm "Apple is suing me what can I nail them on" Apple is currently starting to piss people off so they are going to start going threw their patents and hitting back.

So people keep saying that Bootlace is compatible with the iPod Touch 2g but no one says if its MB or MC, or both.
I would just go ahead and try it, but I heard Bootlace can brick your device if something goes wrong.

As long as Apple is using the time wisely to design a better iPhone, then I don't mind either.
In the mean time, I can't wait to dump my iPhone 4.
It's the most disappointing Apple product I've ever owned. If it could make and receive calls as well as the other AT&T phones I currently use, then I wouldn't be in such a rush to dump it.
And NO IT'a NOT AT&T!
Nor am I sticking up for them, or advocating, as I use both AT&T and Verizon. But the fact is, if it was them, my HTC Inspire and others would suffer the same poor call quality as the iPhone.
And NO IT's NOT JUST THE ANTENNA.. It's a combination of things which have prevented it from being a decent phone.
That said, the rest of it (other than the tiny 3.5" display) I really like!
So come on Apple, let's see you get your act together and do what I KNOW you can do, build a really outstanding smartphone.
I haven't lost faith, I'm ready, cash in hand.
