I'd so take one of those over an iPad, any day. :)

I was referring to bootcamp itself, not the machine.
Since the problem only appears on the new hardware, I'm not sure I'd place the blame on Boot Camp.
Now if only they'd fix the external display problem (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=906779).

I'm just curious if they're going to see that I started it well after when they ended it. I don't know how much information the reps have in-store or what all they do when they upgrade, so I was hoping someone who had done it once already could tell me if they had any trouble.
It doesn't matter what has happened to anyone, or what we may think will happen. That could all be different in 14 months. Do you really need that much planning ahead?
Besides, who cares if they know you "did the loophole". Bottom line is you had an OG iPhone and then had another. Who cares

Do you think the online reservation scheme is to better gage how much inventory they will possibly need at any given Apple store on opening day? I would be surprised if they had 2 separate lines. One reserved and one for those who did not reserve. That would be too smooth.
Anyone else have an opinion on that?
That's exactly what AT&T is doing, 2 separate lines. One line, for pre-orders starting at 7am. The other for people who want it and haven't paid, starting at 7am. When AT&T opens for normal business hours, lines will be merged and priority given to those who pre-ordered.
This is a bit different than Apple stores tho as AT&T has taken money I believe. Apple stores simply took reservations so I wonder how that will all pan out.

It also doesn't need air because it just sits at the bottom of the water filled bucket and floats/crawls around.

thanks for your effort. that explains npr, but i am sure i checked other stations also, just out of curiousity, and got the same result. i'll check again to see if i'm being lazy in my thinking.
otherwise, just wanna say that this sucks. i like a lot of streaming audio sources, and i prefer qt/itunes whenever possible. those choices seem to be winnowing, not expanding.

Post the exact error message. An "invalid selector" error usually shows the exact selector expected.

It takes 578mhz to do one w/u a day. Therefore that would mean an 867mhz would do 1.5 a day (accurate, thats what my PB does) and a 266mhz would do one every 2.1 days, also accurate. Someone compare my equation to their computer. All you do is take your CPU speed and divide it by 578. It *should* give you roughly the w/u you complete in one day.

The code I provided is only the code that I think could be affecting it.
Ok, Im not positive this is why but I'm pretty sure... in the first line you have 'TRANSITIONAL' capitolized. I changed it on my webpage to caps, and I got errors now too(I really didn't think caps mattered but I'm not up on doctype stuff), so give it a try replacing
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 TRANSITIONAL//EN">
with
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">
And also make sure your 'meta' tag is between <head></head> and not right after the !DOCTYPE

the 2.33 c2d is the fastest cpu in that socket. this was the top of the line mini mod in 2007/8. the socket changed in 09 and the cpu has been glued/soldered in tight

Safari 5.1 on Lion for me is, without exaggeration, 4 times faster loading pages than 5.0.3 on SL. It's insanely fast loading anything from HTML5 to Flash content.
It's not just snappier, it's in a different realm.

Hello-
I recently sold my old 2.4GHz i5 15" 2010 MacBook Pro on ebay.
The buyer claims he is not satisfied, and wants a return, as it is a "core 2 duo" machine and does not have multiple cores... What I sent him was exactly what I described, a core i5 machine from 2010...
What do you advise I do? I've already sent off an email saying to go and check About This Mac and the sort. I really have no clue what to do at this point.
Thanks!

Okay, for version 3.0, what if you could enter the specs you want (i.e. combo drive, FW800, USB2, 128 MB Vram), and then it would give you the various machines that can be configured that way, with prices.

NetNewsWire is one of the apps I use most on my Mac. They do have an web app designed for the iPhone at m.newsgator.com which wonderfully keeps all my subscriptions in sync between their full web interface (which I use at work), NetNewsWire (on my Mac at home) and my iPhone. I can't imagine a better setup and now that NewNewsWire is free, I am a happy camper.
