No in bogo they BOTH make money. Verizon, Att, Tmobile and Sprint have already paid retail for the phone before customers recieve the contract price. Apple, Samsung, HTC etc have already made their money. Telcos now have to make their money over time with the contract.
So Bogo makes them money also.

Aside from the whole "personal responsibility" debate, why doesn't Apple just allow cancel/refund of purchases as long as it is done before the download is finished (meaning it's impossible to use)?

Looks like mostly bug fixes. Only thing new I have found is the result of putting a window out of focus.
iCal is still same design too.
Looks like the website icons are showing up now. They didn't before, at least for me no matter what I tried. Yay.

Afterall Apple does not want you to use Windows, it only wants you to believe you could run Windows if you had to, in order to ease switcher anxiety.
Actually they want to sell you the hardware, right? Apple calls itself a hardware company that makes a bit of software on the side, rather than software company that makes hardware to sell with it, doesn't it?

How in the world would $20 a YEAR be too much? You are talking about streaming music from a company that goes to great lengths NOT to sell your information to others. If you're too cheap for that, then use free Pandora and have your whole life story sold off to people for god knows what. :mad:

I'm not gonna buy music from Amazon again though, I downloaded 1 song for my Dad once from there. Because iTunes didn't have it, and Amazon emailed me for weeks with spam.
Oh hell yeah, I just loaded up with a bunch of my favorites, Thanks Amazon!
I buy lots of stuff from Amazon, without a single problem with spam. No tax, no hassle, just a terrific place to do business.
Amazon has been my favorite for years. :)

Is it just me or does anyone else think that if a company never uses a patent it should go pub domain after x number of years? This is tantamount to cyber squatting IMHO.
Who gives a crap if you thought up a great idea if all you are going to do is sit on it and never use it.

That would be a sexy phone indeed. The current design/shape is rather uninspired compared to the stuff before. Metal, rounded edges, asymmetrical: win. The teardrop angles it a little on a table. Tre nice.

This is going to be huge for Mac OS X. UI Guidelines were great but could stagnant the look. The OS needs to look rich in colour.
Very happy with the change and the development.
Just my 2 cents.
Dear God! Eliminate the consistency that UI guidelines create and usability goes out the window. Net result - Mac OS X becomes no different than Window.
I'm hoping these are red herrings by Apple, because these are just ass ugly.
