I am going to buy a new iMac, I was thinking at the 21,5" but I am having troubles making the decision of which one, the basic or the top...
What do you think?
The 21,5" with intel core i7 at 2,8 Ghz and 8 Gb Sdram (plus the AMD Radeon HD 6770M GDDR5 - 512MB) does worth the price?
Are there great differences between the 6770 and the 6750 on the basic one?

Hello all,
Lately my G5 1.8 dual has been freezing on first boot and i'm not sure why.
If i hold the power button to shut it down, then reboot it, it works great until i shut it down again. Then it freezes on first boot again. It's been doing this for awhile and i think it could be software issues, but im not sure,
what do you think?

I got handbrake, but I don't see the option to customize the resolution. I'm probably just over looking it.

Just a followup. As expected iOS 4.3.2, which was just released yesterday, fixed the 3G connectivity bug on my Verizon iPad 2.

When I signed into gmail on my new iPad, only some of my Notes transferred that were originally on my iPhone (the notes transferred from iphone to ipad must have been done via gmail since they were not synced to my itunes) Does anyone know why? Also, if I used the same computer and iTunes account to activate 2 iPads, will both iPads end up with the same data.

My husband and I have iPads and we both have completely different stuff on our iPads even though we sync on the same computer. We definitely do not want the same stuff on our iPads. So you can sync different stuff if you wish.

I cloned Win7 that I installed on VMware's Virtual Machine with WinClone and in the process of restoring that image to my bootcamp partition, I got an error 102. What do I need to do to successfully restore? What does the error mean so I can lookup to solve this?
Do you still have the VM? If so, launch it, then shut it down not suspend or sleep and try making another image.

Very Cool! I was playing with it a little last night and it seems quite intuitive. Just after a few minutes I was able to import an image. I thought it would have also been easy to ad a text field that I could write something in but could not find anything in the library even under the strings.

Well, I want to buy a warranty for my MacBook Air and I've seen a lot of people say good things about AppleCare and Squaretrade warranties, but I don't know which is the better buy. Squaretrade's warranty covers accidental damage which is huge while AppleCare does not. AppleCare on the other hand extends my current warranty to 3 years and gives me 3 years of phone support. Squaretrade is $159 for a 1 year warranty, and $239 for 2 years. Apple is $249 for 3 years and no accidental damage.
Which would you say is the better buy? I dont know anything really about Squaretrade, but it seems like accidental damage being covered would come with a catch.
Personal stories from anyone that has used Squaretrade in the past would be very helpful.
